As the global supply chain continues to be infected with the epidemic of remarked-reworked electronic components our customers have growing concern with latent failure risks. Zdi has responded to this threat by creating purchasing processes that scrutinize the viability of the source via risk assesment in accordance with the AS6081 Aerospace Standard. Our procurement system rates the vendors credibility before the material arrives at our logistic facility and we share this information with our customer. By having knowlege upfront of the viabiity of the source this is the first step in diminishing the risk of receiving sub standard material or counterfeits.
